I think that there’s a lot we’re unaware of in our lives. We may not be aware of what our bodies are doing, and we may not even be aware of our thoughts. To me this is the single most important part of being conscious. We can change the way we think and behave, if we are open to the idea.
nadine caridi is a French author who was born in 1966, and lives in Paris. She has been writing about her life for over 40 years. She is the author of the novels A Thousand Days, The Garden of Delights and The End of the World, which is a sequel to the novel A Thousand Days. For the uninitiated, there are two main types of consciousness: the conscious and the unconscious. Consciousness is the ability to think and to reason, while unconsciousness is the ability to do things the mind cannot do, such as reason. It is the most important part of being conscious because it is what gives us the ability to do most things. Consciousness is a byproduct of the soul, or self-awareness.
Because our consciousness is, essentially, what we are, the things we are aware of and the things we are conscious of are what we are. For example, when I’m lying in bed at night I am aware of all the things going on in my life, and I am conscious of all the things going on in my life.
The way that our consciousness works is that our sense of self is the result of a body-mind connection. The body is our “I am”, and the mind is our “you are.” Because the body is what connects the mind to the self, we are aware of our bodies in the moment.
And that awareness is what we call conscious experience. Our consciousness is the result of the body-mind connection. But all conscious experiences are actually only the result of our bodies being aware of themselves.
One of the great things about the human brain is that it is a self-sustaining, self-regulating machine. Our bodies are what allow our brains to do its job, and so our brains are what allows us to experience conscious experiences. Consciousness is simply the awareness you have of your body and the world around you. If you were just aware of your body and the world around you, you wouldn’t be able to experience conscious experience.

So consciousness is an important part of awareness, but it is not the whole story. Consciousness is one thing, but self-awareness is something else entirely. The more you do that, the less you can get from it. Consciousness is a process, but self-awareness is an entirely different process.
Consciousness is a process. It’s a state in which the brain is performing its job. Self-awareness is a state of mind, or mind-in-motion. What’s happening is that our brains are performing the function of self-awareness, and then we are becoming aware of that process.
For example, when you notice your dog is playing fetch with your cat, you are not just aware of the behaviour, you are actively involved in the process of self-awareness. As a human being you can’t just go to sleep and wake up as if it was just sleep and wake up. This is because the process of self-awareness requires you to be conscious of your action, and so it is conscious of the act of playing fetch.
