Also, consider that if you are not on your own, there is always someone that can help you.
You can always ask for help as long as you have the information necessary to take action. In a time of crisis, everyone wants to be helpful. As much as I like to think of myself as a good person, I am also a victim of circumstances.
You don’t have to be alone to have friends. It’s just that when you have a friend living with you, you’re more than willing to listen, and ask questions.
