andrew mckenzie is a writer and social media manager at a small marketing agency in the Chicago suburbs who writes about the social media side of things in his blog The Taco Taster. He’s also a taco fanatic – and it shows. He’s currently in the process of starting a blog called No Taco to try to change the taco culture, and has also started a taco podcast called No Taco.
Andrew and I came up with the idea of Taco Taster back in December of 2011. It was a casual and simple way to share our taco obsession with friends and family. We wanted to share our tacos with as many people as possible and to make it as easy as possible to get our fix. It was a great idea and we have been doing Taco Taster ever since. We also blog about our taco obsession in our blog, Taco Taster.
Taco Taster is a great idea that has already had a huge impact on the taco culture. Andrew has started a taco podcast that we’ve been very proud of. You can find it on iTunes, it’s in there somewhere. The podcast is a great way to talk about our taco obsession and to get our ideas out there. And now Andrew is releasing his first book, Taco Taster: The Taco Cult and the Birth of the Fast Food Revolution, out March 1st.
Taco Taster The Taco Cult and the Birth of the Fast Food Revolution by Andrew McKenna is an interesting book. It explores the history of the taco, and also the history of the fast food culture. Although it’s primarily a history book, the book is also very entertaining and engaging, and gives us a chance to talk about all the aspects of our taco obsession. We highly recommend it.
It’s not just the taco culture that’s covered in McKenna’s book, but a lot of the food culture as well. The Taco Taster, the book’s subtitle, is a reference to the “Taco Taster” movement, a movement in which the taco culture is the focus of each of the chapters. I think it’s a great idea, and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
